Master Michael Plott and Master Sean Rome have over 50 years combined experience in numerous types of Hapkido including Traditional, Han Mu Do, Kwan Sik Myung, an Combat Hapkido. Our collective expertise and decades of perfecting our art through practical ”hands-on” training together have allowed us to carefully select and streamline the very best of what Hapkido offes to our students. The result is HYBRID HAPKIDO, a practical, no-nonsense blend of striking, kicking, joint locks/manipulations, balance disruptions and throws designed to debilitate your opponent(s) and move you quickly out of harm’s way. In 2014, and after careful deliberation my Garand Master Jay Vera, Hybrid Hapkido was endorsed and adopted by the Kajukenbo Self Defense Systems (KSDS) as their one and only Hapkido art.
Hybrid Hapkido is designed for all! Our curriculum allows students to learn the basic fundamentals such as strikes, kicks, etc., while offering numerous alternatives based on the limits of your body for the same outcome. Whether you’re in the best shape of your life, on your way there, or past that point some time ago, Hybrid Hapkido has something for you.
